Synopsis
The lively Emily, a talented eight year old cheerleader living in Texas, is testing the limits when preparing for an important challenge. Hunting has been in her family for generations and she is the only one without a trophy on the wall. Eager to prove herself, Emily embarks on her first hunt.
About
In 2020, Griet & I wanted to make a short youth documentary about a kid that was going to hunt for the first time . After weeks of researching in Llano, the "Deer Capital of Texas", we ran into Emily, the youngest member of the Fletcher family and a talented eight year old cheerleader. We were immediately convinced that this was the kid we'd been looking for.
